The "clubs des jeunes" from Languedoc-Roussillon and Provence-Alpes-Côtes d’Azur of the "Société Chimique de France", the "école doctorale des Sciences Chimiques Balard de Montpellier" and the chemistry PhD student association "Amdoc" organize this year in Montpellier the first Young Researcher's Mediterranean Workshop.​

This symposium aims to give an insight of the chemical research in Languedoc-Roussillon and PACA through plenary lectures given by internationally famous speakers, as well as oral communications from young chemists and industrial chemists. They will share the latest scientific breakthrough, the diversity of their topics and their dynamism. This workshop will also ease the communication young chemists, experienced researchers and local industries.

This event will be held on the 17th and 18th of October 2013 at the "Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier". On this occasion will be given :

 

- 3 plenary lectures, by internationally famous chemists

 

- 25 oral communications, by PhD students, post-doctoral fellows and young researchers

 

- 2 lectures, by industrial chemists

 

- one poster session

 

- one round-table meeting gathering local industries
