Michael Meier

, Michael A. R. Meier was born in Ingolstadt (Deutschland) in 1975 and obtained his PhD in 2006 at Eindhoven University of Technology. After working at Emden University and Potsdam (Allemagne), he was appointed Full Professor in 2011 at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. He is laureate of many awards, author of more than 100 scientific publications and is intersted in the sustainable use of renewable ressources for the polymer industry.

Luc Avérous

Luc Avérous got his M. Sc. at the "Ecole d'Application des Hauts Polymères de Strasbourg"and worked as "Ingénieur de recherche" for Synthélabo and then "Université Montpellier II", before obtaining his PhD at the "Ecole des Mines d'Alès". After two post-doctoral fellowship at Montreal and Reims, he became "Maître de Conférences" at the "Université de Reims Champagne-Ardennes" in 1997, and then "Professeur des Universités" at Strasbourg in 2003. Author of nearly 100 scientific publications, he studies biodegradables and bio-based materials for the environnement and health.

Géraldine Masson

Géraldine Masson got her PhD in Organic Chemistry at the "Université Joseph Fourier de Grenoble" in 2003, directed by Dr Sandrine Py and Pr Yannick Vallée. After a post-doctoral fellowship in Amsterdam, she joined the team of Dr Jieping Zhu à the "Institut de Chimie des Substances Naturelles" in 2005, before leading her own team in 2011. Laureate of the "Prix d'innovation Diverchim de la Société Chimique de France" in 2011 and the "médaille de bronze du CNRS" in 2013, author of 45 publications, she is interested in the developement of new synthetic methodologies in organic chemistry.

Samir Jegham

After his studies at Monastir university (Tunisia), Samir Jegham obtained his PhD at the "Institut de Chimie des Substances Naturelles" in 1988. In 1989, he joins Synthélabo, and takes the lead of the Medicinal Chemistry department in Rueil-Malmaison in 1992. In 1999, he is appointed director of the oncology department in Sanofi-Synthélabo and then Sanofi-aventis in Montpellier, which he directed until 2010. During this time, he worked on topics such as the development of antineoplastics, kinase inhibitors, epi-genetics or chemokine receptors. Since 2010  Samir Jegham leads the LGCR platform of Sanofi. Author of more than 80 scientific publications including 58 patents, Samir Jegham was also laureate in 2011 of the "Prix Industriel de la Division de Chimie Organique de la SCF".

Laurent Hennequin

After his studies at the "université de Rouen", Laurent Hennequin obtained his PhD in the laboratory of Pr Pierre Duhamel in 1986. He then did a post-doctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Pr Gilbert Stork at Columbia University befor joining  Drug Design research center of ICI Pharmaceuticals in 1988 in Reims (AstraZeneca). he then worked in the research center of AstraZeneca in Manchester in the Oncology research department. His work on oncology and kinases made him internationally famous in these topics. In 2004, he is appointed director of AstraZeneca's research center in Reims. Now working for Galderma in Sofia-Antipolis, author of nearly 80 publications more than 60 industrial patents, Laurent Hennequin received the "prix industriel de la Division de Chimie Organique de la SCF" in 2009.
